In the mid 2000s, Michael Libramento and Evan Martin (known together as the rhythm section for the band Floating Action) formed Ice Cream, a juggernaut known for their ability to deliver fuzzed-out live performances of hip-hop, R&B, and afrobeat-inspired instrumental beats, using little more than combo organs, Casio keyboards, and drums.
